Ashley started ballroom and swing dancing at the age of 10. She fell in love with swing and continued it through high school while also dancing jazz and hip hop. In college she joined an east coast swing and Lindy Hop team. She was introduced to west coast swing by a friend and quickly realized it was the dance she wanted to do. She pursued lessons in west coast swing and hustle while living in Philadelphia for a few years. After moving back to St. Louis she continued to pursue west coast swing and now enjoys dancing socially, teaching, learning, and occasionally competing.
